Getting There: Served primarily by American Eagle, Cape Air, LIAT, and other airlines; or by ferry or boat charter. Flights from most East Coast U.S. Cities should be taken to San Juan (SJU) or St. Thomas (STT) with connections to Beef Island (EIS) or ferry connections or private water taxi from St. Thomas, USVI.

Entry Documents: Proof of citizenship (passport, original birth certificate and photo ID or naturalization papers with photo ID) and a return or ongoing ticket for U.S. or Canadian citizens. Other countries require passport or visas.

Airport: Beef Island Airport; International flights must come through St. Thomas, San Juan, or St. Martin. Small private jets and turbo jets can land at Beef Island Airport.

Transportation: Taxis are best for infrequent trips. Rental cars are readily available. To rent a car you need a US$10 BVI license. Ferries to other islands, including the U.S.V.I.s are frequent and plentiful, around $15-$22 per person, one way.

Ferry Information: The West End ferry dock is a two minute drive from Frenchmans Lookout.
